ABOUT KATE

From the cloisters of royal palaces to the historic collections of one of the worlds preeminent universities, Kate has over 20 years experience of leading frontline teams and their managers in such world-renowned organisations as the Natural History Museum London, Historic Royal Palaces and The University of Oxford. Fortunate enough to be surrounded by passionate people, the development and success of those people has become Kate’s passion, resulting in her work being referred to as the ‘Kate Minchin School of Heritage Management’.

Whether it’s producing plays, managing concerts or ensuring that 20,000 people get to enjoy a Tudor joust safely, Kate has spent her career ensuring that other people’s creative ideas become a reality: Fountains that dispense wine, filming Hollywood movies in delicate buildings, winning gold medals in the 2012 Olympics cycling (OK, so she didn’t actually influence the outcome of the race but Team GB got a gold so it’s all good).

When other people want to say “no” Kate’s attitude has always been “we’ll find a way”. Kate brings the same positive approach to training and developing others;

Give your frontline managers the right tools and support, grow their confidence, and they can help you make wonderful, inspirational, crazy things happen for your organisation”.

Kate lives with her wife in the New York metropolitan area; together they ride motorbikes all over the world and drink too much coffee.
